Digital Sport is coming to Manchester

Digital Sport is coming to Manchester

This April will see the UK Sports Network bring their Digital Sport events to the North of England for the very first time.

Digital Sport Manchester is taking place on Thursday 17 April and will see one of the strongest line-ups yet descend on the city’s TechHub. Speakers involved in every facet of the digital sport industry, including broadcasters, teams, tech companies and more, will be in attendance.

Dan McLaren, founder of the UK Sports Network, said: “We’ve been running events in London on a monthly basis since last summer and they have gone from strength to strength. The success we’ve had in the capital means we’re now able to host similar Digital Sport get-togethers elsewhere in the UK. A few weeks ago we headed to Scotland and hosted 30 digital sport professionals in Glasgow. Now we’re headed to Manchester.

“We’ve got a packed afternoon planned. Delegates will be able to hear from BBC Sport, British Cycling, Manchester City, Everton, deltatre, Stream UK, Leeds Rugby, Perform and Manchester Metropolitan University, so there really is going to be is something for everyone at the event. There’s also going to be plenty of opportunities to get involved and chat with other professionals in a relaxed, informal environment.”
