Andy Murray wears Twitter t-shirt during Davis Cup warm-ups
The Lawn Tennis Association have tweeted pictures of Andy Murray and Jamie Ward wearing specially created tweet t-shirts during their warm-up for Davis Cup matches.
At the end of the February the LTA’s Twitter account (@BritishTennis) appealed for messages of support from followers, which it promised would appear on the players’ warm-up shirts. True to their word, they’ve now appeared (great touch asking Murray to pose reading it too).

Murray even recorded a special message using Twitter’s new in-line video feature for @Sanjkhet1984, who was the lucky Twitter user to have his message of support displayed on Andy’s t-shirt.

They also made use of Vine to show Jamie Ward’s thanks to @flic22s, after their message was also picked to be displayed.

The LTA have used the hashtag #BackTheBrits to drum up support for the country’s players during the build-up to this year’s Davis Cup. They’ve been sharing regular Vines and Twitter videos of behind-the-scenes action ahead of the tournament starting on 6 March.
