PiQ Rio brings brands closer to Brazil 2014

PeerIndex have revealed details of a World Cup version of their audience insights tool PiQ.

According to the founder Azeem Azhar the resource, called PiQ Rio, will “give marketers a real-time view of what people care about during the World Cup and who to pay attention to.

“PiQ will help the marketer figure out what to say, the tone of discussion around the world cup and opportunities to exploit emerging trends.”

PiQ Rio will track up to a quarter of a million Twitter influencers that have shown an interest in the tournament, allowing brands to identify trends and tailor content accordingly. The tool will also allow top brands to find out how successful they are in connecting with this particular audience.
